In one sentence

Flip’n’Climb collects no personal data, has no internet access, and sends nothing to anyone — not to its developer, not to a third party.

What the app stores, and where

The app needs to keep your games from one evening to the next. It therefore stores, only in its private space on your device:

This is written to a database file that only this app can read. None of it is sent to any server: the app requests no Android permission and has no network access, which makes any communication technically impossible.

The names you type are the ones you choose. Nothing requires you to use real names, and the app links them to no identity.

Profile photos

You can give a player a photo, taken on the spot or picked from your images. Either way it is the system’s camera or picker that opens, never a screen of the app: the app requests no camera permission and no access to your images, sees nothing of your gallery, and receives only the single image you just pointed it at.

That image is downscaled, cropped by you, then copied into the app’s private space alongside the database. It does not leave it and is sent nowhere — for the same reason as everything else: the app has no network access. The original stays where it was; the app neither modifies nor deletes it.

“Remove photo” followed by “Save” deletes the file, and deleting a player deletes theirs with them.

What the app does not do

Your device’s backup

Android offers automatic backup of app data to your own Google account. If you have enabled it in your phone’s settings, your players and scores may be included, like those of your other apps. This is an operating-system mechanism, under your control and not ours: the app’s publisher has no access to it. You can turn it off in your Android backup settings.

Deleting your data

There is no request to send us: we hold nothing about you, so there is nothing we could delete on your behalf.

Children

The app collects no data, including from children. It is not specifically directed at children under 13, but a child using it exposes no information.

Your rights

The GDPR grants you rights of access, rectification, erasure and objection over the personal data a publisher holds about you. We hold none: there is no processing on our side for those rights to apply to. The data you enter stays under your sole control, on your device.

Changes

Any change to this policy will be published at this same address, with its update date. If a future version of the app were to collect anything, it would be stated here before that version is released.
